January 2007 – A&N Hosts Kickoff for Information Assurance Small Business Association A&N Associates, Inc. hosted the kickoff meeting for the newly formed Information Assurance Small Business Association (IASBA) on December 15 th, 2006. The IASBA is being organized in response to a presentation Mr. John Nicolettos, President, A&N, provided at the 2 nd Information Assurance Directorate (IAD) / Small Business Community (SBC) Executive Forum on November 21, 2006. In that presentation Mr. Nicolettos recommended to the small business community that services IAD to mobilize itself in an effort to provide a stronger voice to, and presence within the IAD. The IASBA kickoff meeting was attended by fourteen (14) senior small business personnel representing ten (10) small businesses operating in the IAD marketplace. At this kickoff meeting, Mr. Nicolettos was named Chairman of the IASBA, and committees were formed to establish the legal infrastructure for the IASBA, as well as to perform outreach to IAD and the small business community.
