April 2006 – A&N Hosts PKI Implementation Workshop at NIST A&N Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce its involvement as moderator and host of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Implementation Workshop that was held at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on April 10 th and 11 th. This two-day workshop was sponsored by the Federal PKI Policy Authority, in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and NIST, and focused on providing implementation insight and recommendations to Federal agency personnel and their contractors involved in HSPD-12 implementation activities. The first day offered insight into critical PKI component requirements that drive the success of an HSPD-12 compliant implementation. The second day offered PKI implementation recommendations by Government personnel and commercial industry vendors with hands-on PKI implementation and deployment experience. In addition, the afternoon on both days provided Federal agency personnel an opportunity to “meet and greet” with vendors and service providers that are actively engaged in providing PKI products and services in support of HSPD-12 initiatives.
