December 2008 – A&N Participates in Development of Health Care Security Guide A&N Associates, Inc., is pleased to announce its participation in the development of Reassessing Your Security Practices in a Health IT Environment: A Guide for Small Health Care Practices. This guide is intended to assist small health care practices in reassessing their existing health information security policies as they consider adopting and implementing emerging health information technology (health IT) capabilities such as electronic health records and electronic health information exchange. A&N provided subject matter expertise to the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology (HIT) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which led the development of this security guide.
